This release marks the fourth studio album from Earl Sweatshirt, recorded during and in the aftermath of the global pandemic and its lockdowns. Prior to the pandemic he had been working on a different project, but during lockdown he shifted direction — the resulting ten tracks reflect isolation, restlessness, reflection and raw creative bursts. The blue-vinyl edition is a collector’s variant: visually distinct and pressed specially to complement the art-concept of disruption and introspection.
