Alfa Mist’s Antiphon is a captivating fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and soul that marks a significant milestone in the London producer and pianist's artistic journey. Released in 2017, the album was inspired by a recorded conversation with his brothers about mental health and relationships, lending the project a deeply personal and introspective tone. The eight-track collection showcases Mist's ability to blend melancholic jazz harmonies with alternative hip-hop elements, creating a sound that is both reflective and innovative. Tracks like "Keep On" and "Breathe" highlight his talent for crafting immersive musical landscapes that resonate with emotional depth.
