In celebration of the 35th anniversary of "Ten," Pearl Jam presents the live album "Ten Live"—a historic live performance of their landmark debut album. The album was recorded on April 29, 2016, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, on a very special night where Pearl Jam played "Ten" in its entirety, from 'Once' to 'Release'.
The concert was Pearl Jam's tenth sold-out show in South Philadelphia. After the venue marked this achievement with a special banner, “Pearl Jam 10 South Philadelphia Sellouts,” Eddie Vedder decided to celebrate the event in a very special way: by playing the album that started it all, from beginning to end. It was only the second time in the band's history that they played "Ten" in its entirety (the first time was at a concert in Munich in 1992), and the first time on American soil.
When "Ten" was originally released in 1991, the album transformed Pearl Jam from a newly formed Seattle band into one of the defining names in rock of their generation, and songs like 'Alive', 'Even Flow', 'Jeremy' and 'Black' have since become indispensable cornerstones in the band's catalog.
The live recording was remixed by Pearl Jam's sound engineer and producer, Josh Evans, while mastering was handled by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering.
