With the instructions and colour-coded wiring, it's easy to install with a steady hand & sharp tweezers/pliers. A screwdriver is included, but it's rubbish.

The instructions don't include info on how to position the cartridge correctly along the stylus head sliders. For that you need a special tool that's not included. Ortofon explains this & show you the tool on YouTube. Without this you risk placing the cartridge on the wrong position on the stylus head. You can eyeball it without the tool which is what I did and it worked fine.

If you've installed it correctly the cartridge definitely broadens the sound a lot over the stock unit. Deeper bass, brighter high end, greater stereo separation.

Is it worth the AUD$300 odd price? Yes, BUT ONLY if you have good ear, decent equipment, i.e. good amp, good speakers, good quality vinyl.
If so, you WILL notice a significant difference. If you don't have all of the above then no, you will be wasting your money.
