Alternative modern folk band Grizzly Bear reissues all four of their previous titles on colored vinyl! Grizzly Bear is an alternative modern folk band based in Brooklyn, NY. The band has reigned as one of the leading bands in the US indie scene along with Animal Collective and Dirty Projectors, and to celebrate their resumption of live performances after a six-year absence, they have released a series of vinyl reissues of their four previous titles on colored vinyl! Yellow House" is the origin of the Grizzly Bear sound with its piano, strings, brushed drums, stacked vocals and electronics on top of it, and "The Grizzly Bear" is the work of composer Nico Marley, known for his film music and work with Bjork, Rufus Wainwright, and others. The album "Veckatimest", with the participation of Nico Marley and Victoria Legrand, Michel Legrand's niece, combines fertility and etherealness, and "Shark" traces a nostalgic scene of the New Americana, dense with gems of melody and harmony, wrapped in a complex and modern arrangement that is the sound of a mature band. Shields", which offers the band's mature sound, and "Painted Ruins", which, although not as flashy, offers the Grizzly Bear style, with its detailed sound and gentle melodies.
