Gen Z New Yorkers need their Strokes; their Television; their Parquet Courts. A band that capture what it's like to feel young in The Big Apple in 2025. And Geese do it better than anyone else that's been catapulted from its dive bars to international acclaim in recent months. This is their third album and it was recorded with Kenneth Blume (aka Kenny Beats) in his LA studio. The link there appears to be their label mates IDLES, who had their album TANGK produced by him. The results of the collaboration are startling - the lead single 'Taxes' is the most passionately performed Geese song yet. And whilst they don't overtly call this a political album in the PR, there's a sense that the band may be holding power to account in their own artful way.
