If people were putting up their hands for someone who's seen and done it all in the music business, Fin Greenall of Fink could have his arm straight up high. Not that he ever would though, because he's so understated and humble in his approach.
We'll come straight out and say it: Fink is one of our favourite artists. In fact, if you've bought a record from us before, you'll know it - we tip our hat to him, quoting one of his (and our) favourite song & album titles on the packaging of every record we send to our customers.
His catalogue is one that's given us so much joy over the years, and is well worth your ears. Fink's Beauty In Your Wake Acoustic is a reimagined version of their 2024 album (listen here) offering a stripped-back, live reinterpretation that captures the evolution of their music.
Recorded over three snowy days in January 2025, straight after his first Australian tour in a decade, at Lowswing Studio in Berlin, a space known for its analog warmth and history with artists like Nick Cave, the sessions featured Fin Greenall, Tim Thornton, and Guy Whittaker performing live takes that emphasise spontaneity and raw emotion.
