Silk Degrees is the seventh album by the singer-songwriter and guitarist released on Columbia Records in 1976.
The album peaked at #2 and spent 115 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA and remains Scaggs's best-selling album.
'Silk Degrees' spawned four singles, "It's Over", "Lowdown", "Lido Shuffle", and "What Can I Say".
Boz gained fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and one-time lead singer with the Steve Miller Band and in the 1970s with several solo Top 20 hit singles and a clutch of best-selling albums.
