A lot of Sabbath fans tend to focus on the first four albums (although there are some overlooked greats after these), and it's easy to hear why when you make your way through them.
The aptly titled "Vol. 4" saw the band move towards a slightly lighter rock'n'roll sound in comparison to their previous releases, and a more introspective perspective on Ozzy's part. However, you still have the classic Sabbath vibe with their jam-like sensibility and Iommi's doomy tone.
This album would inspire dozens of covers by the likes of Screaming Trees, Ministry, Iron Monkey, Soulfly and many many more.
