Thelma Plum Drops New Album in October and Announces 2024 Aussie Tour

Hold up! Thelma Plum is about to bless us with a brand-new album, I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back, dropping this October, and we’re already obsessed. This album is her first big release since Better in Blak, and it’s filled with the soulful, heartfelt tracks we’ve come to love from her — and then some.
It’s been a minute since the Gamilaraay artist’s iconic debut Better in Blak dropped in 2019, but now she’s ready to share her next chapter. To celebrate, Thelma’s heading across the country in October and November to bring her fresh tracks to stages all over.
The new album is packed with stories from Thelma’s life over the past five years — stories of heartbreak, healing, and even a few fun pop songs about dogs.
“This record has been a long time in the making. It’s personal and kind of like I’m sharing pages from my diary with you, but it’s time for it to fly free,” Thelma says about the deeply personal project.
On tour, Thelma will be joined by Melbourne folk band The Slingers for most shows, with Miss Kaninna stepping in for Adelaide, and Banjo Lucia joining them in Fremantle.
“It feels like forever since my last national headline tour,” Thelma said.
“But with this new album, we’ve got so many new songs to play, and we’re putting together a whole new show. I can’t wait to share it with you!”
With new music and a fresh live show, this is one tour you won’t want to miss.
The 10-date tour kicks off in Mulubinba/Newcastle on October 24, travelling down the NSW coast, across to Walyalup/Fremantle, and finishing with a special hometown gig in Meanjin/Brisbane on November 16.
Tickets are on sale now. Make sure to lock it in and get ready for a big spring singalong with Thelma Plum!
