Where is Bondi Records located?
Bondi Records is an online vinyl record store. However, we do offer pick up from our warehouse, which is located in Rose Bay. Please order your item online and select local pickup. We will notify you once your item is ready to collect.
If you would like to browse the collection in person, please email us to make an appointment.
Do you have a physical store?
Not yet, but we are on the lookout for the ideal retail location. So, if you have any suggestions, feel free to drop us a line!
When are you next at the markets?
Are the items listed as available actually in stock?
We only list items we have in stock on the website. Anything out of stock is listed as Back soon. If an item is out of stock you can add an email alert and you will be notified when it’s available to order again.
In rare circumstances, a record may be unavailable due to a stock miscount. If your order contains an item that turns out to be unavailable we will contact you with some options.

Can't find what you're looking for on the site? If we don't have it, we'll do our best to locate it and order it in.

Are the records new and sealed?
The records we sell are brand new, sealed, and unused. However, if an item has any visible defects, we make sure to clearly indicate this in the listing description.
What are your shipping options?
We ship anywhere in Australia and to over 40 countries internationally. We also offer local pickup.
We use Australia Post to deliver your items and offer standard and express shipping domestically and standard shipping internationally.
Domestic standard shipping costs $9.95 and is free when you spend over $150.
Express Shipping costs $14.95. All shipping prices are visible at checkout and are subject to change at any time.
International shipping via Australia Post and is calculated based on weight.
Can I pickup my order?
Certainly! Just select pick up when you check out. We will text you when you order is ready to organise a convenient time to collect.
Orders are usually ready in 24 hours, if not sooner. If you need your order urgently, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accomodate your request!
How do I track my delivery?
A tracking notification will be sent to the email you used at checkout for your purchase. If you haven't received one, please check all your email accounts (including that long-forgotten Hotmail account from the 90s!) and your spam folder. If you still don't have it – ping us and we'll resend it.
How long will my delivery take?
For more information about delivery times, please visit our Shipping Policy page. Please also additional time for delivery during peak times, particularly November – December.

Will my record be safe in the post?
We use special cardboard mailers, designed to carry multiple records securely.
The mailers are made with multiple layers of sturdy cardboard, providing strong protection for your valuable purchase. They also have enough padding to prevent bent corners and other potential damage.
Each item is carefully packaged with great attention to detail, ensuring its safety while it's being transported. We mark all packages as "FRAGILE".
In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, we will file an incident claim with Australia Post.

Can I return my item?
We've got you covered if you receive damaged or defective goods. Just follow our refund policy, which aligns with the ACCC's consumer guarantee.
For any other reason you might want to return an item, we'll take a look at each case individually. Keep in mind that there might be a restocking fee to cover costs like packaging, labour, and merchant fees. Email us and we'll be happy to help you out!
How do I make changes to an order I’ve just placed?
If you have made a mistake or if you need to modify your order or shipping address, please contact us before we process your order.
What if I haven't received my order?
We suggest you check the tracking details provided for your order, as this will give you an indication of your estimated delivery date.
If this has passed and still do not have your items, or it says they have been delivered but you cannot locate your items, please contact Australia Post directly to locate your package. In the case that your item has been delivered and you are unable to locate it, you may be required to file a police report to instigate a claim with Australia Post.
Should your order include a pre-order vinyl, we will dispatch all of your items collectively once the pre-ordered item is released.
Why have I not received my pre-order item?
Vinyl pre-order release dates are subject to change and in some cases, we receive less supply than we have ordered from the distributor. In some cases, we do not receive pre-order items on the day of release or we receive different colour variants to those that have been ordered. We will update our website when dates change and contact you if your order has been affected. For more information, view our Pre-order policy page.
Why do vinyl record prices vary?
Vinyl prices vary depending on our suppliers. The majority of our collection comes from reputable wholesalers in the US and Europe – so shipping and currency costs can fluctuate depending on the country and exchange rates at the time of ordering.
Sadly, record labels have also been known to raise their wholesale prices with little warning (but they ALWAYS say they’re doing it to support the industry 🙄).
Do you price match?
As a small, family-owned independent record store we are sadly unable to compete with the buying power of major retailers, aggregator platforms and direct to consumer websites owned by our suppliers. We do, however, price our records competitively, at the best possible price.
What are international taxes and duties and who pays pays them?
International taxes and duties, often called Customs Duty, are charges levied on goods when they cross international boundaries.
It's important to clarify that Bondi Records does not cover these international fees; it is the buyer's responsibility. The cost of these charges is not included in the price of your purchase. Depending on your location, you'll be informed about any fees fees payable via an email from your local customs department.
What payment options do you accept?
Bondi Records provides a range of secure payment options for your convenience. These options include:

How long are gift cards valid for?
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Why haven't I received my gift card?
Our gift cards are digital and are sent via email after you have successfully completed the checkout process.
If you haven't received it, we recommend you check your junk mail folder, as sometimes the email is diverted there.
If you are unable to find the email, please reach out to our team and we will assist you.
Do you buy record collections?
This is something we may look at in the future, but currently we only sell new, sealed vinyl, sourced from our suppliers in Australia, US, UK and Europe.
