Originally recorded in the mid-2000s, The Other Side presents a soulful, stripped-down side of Seu Jorge's signature MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) and samba-funk style. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro, the album blends acoustic samba-canção rhythms with laid-back soul, featuring smooth vocal performances, classic nylon-string guitar, and warm percussion across a mix of originals and reinterpretations.
