Originally released in September 1986, Gossip became a defining album in Australian music, peaking at #15 on the national album charts and achieving Gold record status. Produced by Alan Thorne and Paul Kelly, the album featured the hit singles "Before Too Long" and "Darling It Hurts", helping cement Kelly's reputation as one of Australia's most acclaimed songwriters
