This live album captures Miles Davis with his renowned “Second Great Quintet” — tenor saxophonist Wayne Shorter, pianist Herbie Hancock, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Tony Williams. The recording took place at the jazz club the Plugged Nickel in Chicago on December 22 and 23, 1965.
