Sometime circa 2003, Nastrodoomus surfaced as an unofficial remix project, perfusing Nas's 1999 album Nastradamus with MF DOOM's productions collated from various over-the-years sources. 'Life We Chose', 'Some of Us Have Angels' and 'Project Windows' hear Doom's chockablock, agile, jazz-inflected beats fused with Nas's intricate lyricism, bridging two figureheads of the East Coast scene. While not an official collaboration, this is a surefire underground hip-hop heads' favourite; a quick nostrum for the lyrically, wonkily inclined.
