Shifting away from linear narrative pop structures, the conceptual record plays out in real-time sequence across the span of a single night—beginning right at sundown, traversing the deepest hours of total pitch black, and closing at the earliest crack of dawn.
The album marks a staggering artistic evolution into the realms of Shoegaze, Post-Rock, Slowcore, and Glitch Pop. Jane acts as an omnivorous creator, entirely self-producing the album to juxtapose beautifully warm, dusky ambient guitars with massive, room-shaking walls of harsh noise and distorted percussion.
