After the brilliant double success at the Grammys 2014, Kendrick Lamar continued his triumphant progress in 2015 with the hit album "To Pimp A Butterfly", which was celebrated as "a masterpiece of complexity, politically, musically and conceptually" and stormed to the top of the charts around the globe. In early 2016 he won five Grammys for the album. In March of last year he surprisingly presented a new work, "untitled unmastered", to shorten the waiting time for the upcoming LP: These "unfinished, untitled raw versions" also directly conquered the top of the Billboard 200.
With a new album he consolidates his position on the throne on which he has been sitting for years now: Before the "King of Compton" (Der Spiegel) celebrates his thirtieth birthday this summer, he now heralds the fourth chapter of his exceptional career.
